After the seed drill was invented and many people used it, differernt types of mechanical seed drills were invented. Farmers really liked the seed drill because it, one put the seeds in the ground at the perfect depth, it also could get the weeds out from in between the crops. Tull’s invention was very popular in England at the start, but it was adopted ver yquickly by the New England colonists across the Atlantic. In 1771 Tull wrote a book called “Horse-Houghing Husbandry” then revised it in 1773. The book was about new methods and different ways to  farm. The seed drill cost 57 pounds, 18 shillings and 2 pennies. In US dollars that would be $80.15.
