I feel like a lot of times, especially in high-school it’s harder to be yourself due to the fear of judgement. Everyone here is so quick to judge the next because their interests look different from theres. But that doesn’t matter. I say be you, its feels better to be yourself to live in your truth, I myself was always afraid of judgement I used to seek so much validation from others due to my own insecurities I had deep down and it didn’t feel great, I felt as if I was shapeshifting so much to fit the next persons criteria that I lost who I REALLY was deep down, not what other people made me but who I made myself. It was also so hard constantly shapeshifting because everyone liked something different or wanted me to change something different which stressed me out completely. Eventually I had enough and just stopped caring, Im now happier than ever. Moral of the story be yourself no matter what anyone thinks, If you don’t have haters you ain’t doing something right.

Don’t wait on someone else’s growth to start living your life. Sometimes we hold off on our own healing, peace, or progress, hoping someone else will “catch up” or change first but that can keep us stuck in a version of ourselves we’ve already outgrown. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for yourself and the other person is to move forward without waiting. waiting on people to “get it,” to grow, to treat you right, to realize your worth, will have you stuck in the same spot while life keeps moving. Time doesn’t wait, and neither should you. In reality, don’t wait on nobody.
