The two changes is who owned the land. The winner of the battle, William the Conqueror, took away the lands from the English nobles who fought against him., it introduced a new system called feudalism. In this system, the king gave land to the nobles in exchange for their loyalty and service. The nobles allowed peasants to work on the land. This created a social structure with the king at the top, followed by the nobles, and then the peasants. This new system had a big impact on how the economy worked.
