         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the 1700s, a war called the French and Indian war broke out over claim rights over the Ohio River Valley. The war ended once Britain claimed rights over Canada and began exploiting policies; to punish the colonists. The most infamous of these is the policy that prohibited colonists west of the Appalachians. Colonists began to revolt and grew angry at the British because of this policy; eventually leading to the growth of the American Revolution.</div>]]></description>

The colonists were being taxed for the sugar, stamps and tea. Along with the British signing the treaty that prohibited the colonists from settling West of the Appalachians, which the colonists got angry at and started to revolt against the British.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The aftermath of the French &amp; Indian war angered the colonists. Not only did Britain prevent the colonists from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains, which they were fighting for the right to settle in to begin with, Britain was also taxing the colonists to try and get the colonists to pay off the war debt for Britain. Some of the different taxes included sugar, paper, and tea, all of which were goods that colonists used plenty of. This made the colonists understandably livid, and they started a revolution that would separate them from Britain for good. This revolution would become known as the American Revolution</div>]]></description>
