This Series present a aristocracy family called "Crowley”, who lived during the role of King "George 5” in the beginnings of 20 century between 1912 and 1925, in one of the greatest properties and lands Britain, called "Downton Abbey," and its about Diary of one of the family member it shows the their stories and the life with the workers & maids in the palace, “Downton Abbey” take us to lives in the reality of Britain's actual society, and shows us the traditions cultural and social life, this culture that remain same for a long time till the war come and break every things.

Downton Abbey, deals with the life in England before the first world war and between the two wars it start to grow the free Irish, this changes helps to change of English people rights, and the beginning of the protests and claims of a women's rights, and the technology start to come in England like the factories, telephone and electricity, and how the people in the British society accept all this changes and deal with it.
