My perspective on my faith has changed greatly overtime. When I was younger, I was always taught the basics of my faith: Jesus died for our sins, Mary is the mother of Jesus, God created the world, etc. However, I was never able to explore how I personally view my faith until now.
Over the course of my first semester at FSHA, I've grown immensely in my faith. I met many people of different religions and had many opportunities to explore my personal view and opinions. For example, I've been able to discuss in class how I view Jesus and God and how they are a part of my daily life. I also have been able to share my own experiences and other's experiences on how they feel that they've seen God in their own lives.
Now that I am getting older, I have seen the darker side to our world and communities. Countless numbers of people are criticized for who they are and what they believe. I personally wish that everyone could see that we all are connected and have to be supportive and loving of one another.
I view my faith as something I can turn to when I am feeling low. I can also see faith in many of the great moments in my life. It is something I am always able to either be grateful for or ask for guidance.
No matter who you are or what you believe is true, faith is something that we all have in common and something that we always have to turn to. If we use our faith and continue to see the similarities in our communities, we will stop letting our differences define us and become one family.

The Beatles wrote this song about people who continuously fight and never come to a solution because they do not want to be wrong. However, they also include the lines "Life is very short, and there's no time for fussing and fighting, my friend" which means that they are spreading the message that arguing wastes time and love and acceptance is the most important thing to have.
