We all agreed that this was a beautiful piece of art even though it was outside and not part of the gallery. It made a magical day even more special and looked especially nice in the dusky half light that sundown brought us just before we left at 4.30. I loved this piece although I hate spiders. This was to represent motherhood. All of the arms doing all the things a mother does and also spinning a web of safety around her children whilst still able to be that little bit menacing, a trick that mothers are good at almost inately. Louise Borgios 1990s in her series which included a giant sider Maman. This is what I hoped to see. Something amazing and larger than life. Fantastic piece of architecture sweeping from the ground floor upwards into the building, as much a piece of art as the art contained within it. Sometimes cathedral like and sometimes industrial the Tate modern did not dissappoint and was as splendid and majestic as the works displayed within it.You almost thought that your words would echo around its vast spaces and yet they didn't. I wrote East Kent level 3 art and design so that for a brief moment it was acknowledged that we had been there.
