Teaching a kid who won’t settle down takes patience, creativity, and consistency. Being successful with children with ADHD needs accommodation, instruction, and intervention. Accomodation is just what you can do to make things easier for the child. Instruction are different methods you use. And intervention would be what you when the child is distracting other students. Most important tool you could use is a positive attitude. Try to ignore mild innnapropriate behavior if it’s not on purpose or if it isn’t distracting anyone else. Accomodation could include the seating of the room, how you get the information to the kids, what work your student does, and being organized!
