EFFECTS: The excessive exploitation of coal, oil and natural gas, among others, generates high levels of pollution, not only in the air but also in the environments where these resources are extracted, affecting our health. To date, no international convention has managed to establish a clear boundary between sustainable development and care for the Earth.

INTRODUCTION
 Air pollution from burning fossil fuels - mainly coal, oil and gas - is behind around 4.5 million deaths annually worldwide and generates an estimated economic loss of US$2.9 trillion, equivalent to approximately 3.3% of global GDP. 

MAIN BODY
It is difficult for us to abandon coal and oil, since coal is the most widely used source of electricity generation in the world. And in the case of oil, we have a huge installed infrastructure that is very difficult to dismantle without creating serious distortions in our economy and daily life.

CONCLUTION
We could move away from fossil fuels by implementing measures such as a carbon tax or global limits on fossil fuel production, who would affect our daily lifestyles.
