ANALYSIS: This is what Curely's wife says too Crooks. It shows her discriminating against Crooks just because of his skin color. This connects to the theme because Crooks is being discriminated against because of the color of his skin. ANALYSIS: This quote is showing us Curely's Wife's feelings towards Curley. She says that Curley really isn't a nice, and loving man. She couldn't live out her dream of being famous, so she just settled for Curley. I think the author is teaching us that you shouldn't settle or stay for anything that is making you unhappy. She should've left their relationship before they got married.
