This was not a big deal since I already call everyday before bed. 
-He told me that the virus and weather have been tough since he loves being outside with the animals and the covid is keeping them from traveling as much as he'd love too. 
-He enjoys going to mcdonalds in the morning and meeting his friends as well as eating from their breakfast menu. "I love their oatmeal."

-I have trouble hearing, but my sight isn't so bad. 
- To learn about the process of his everyday and what highschool was like for them was interesting and I enjoyed hearing his jokes. He mentions that they often plan their appointments together and this makes it easier on them since they get tired easily from driving. He enjoys talking about his family that has passed away. He likes making his calls at night it helps him clear his mind and get to sleep. " Sleep has become difficult. I sleep whenever I am tired and that could be anytime of the day."
-This call gave me a look into the restrictions that make everyday activity for you and I easy. Driving in the snow is easy for me because I can see. - He keeps an upbeat attitude. He is happy that he still does not have to take medications. he believes that keeping a smile on your face is what keeps you young. He spends a large amount of his time watching the news. This influences him greatly. I spent most of this phone call explaining everything happening and consoling him. He explains how different things used to be and that being inside all the time is making it hard for him to make money and see people. He also explains the difficulty about going to the store at the right time of day since he does not know what is safe and what is not. Very ready to be able to see us kids again and be outside. Is sick of the restrictions "I hate Joe and am happy states are lifting mandates." I told him that Ohio may be following their footsteps soon. He is very up-to-date with current history. We were able to get him and grandma a vaccination. I wasn't to excited about it, but he was ecstatic. He is waiting for the symptoms to clear so that we can all visit as a family. He is currently getting ready for bed that is why the call is cut short today. That and he is not feeling "tip-top." (always something) He has an ingrown toe nail that he keeps getting repaired, but it continues to return. He is aggravated with the healthcare system because he hates seeing more than one doctor to get his problems fixed. Such as seeing his primary care and then having to be referred to a cardiologist. He says it's a rip off. I agree. I am going to see him tomorrow and say hi since it has been a while since I have seen him. He will enjoy the surprise. We played chess. He enjoys using his brain. Is a thinker. He spoke to me that he used to play chess with his brothers and friends growing up. His most fun game to play now is playing along on the television during jeopardy. He always beats me. I enjoyed eating out with him because I have not been able to see him during this pandemic. He was also happy to visit with me. He turned 21 so we all had a beer together. Grandpa prefers the dark beers because they've got the best flavor and that light beers taste like water. I explained to him that I like light beers for the amount you can drink and that dark beers feel heavy in my stomach. He compared them to a loaf of bread. My brother did not enjoy the taste. He is still young. We laughed about old memories of playing high school sports and college parties. He tends to reminisce in the past a lot, but enjoys living in the moment. I can relate to this because we all ride motorcycles.
