Burt rarely had visitors but now he was seeing 7 elves popping out of his small door. Burt was a short thin man who lived in the land of elves, goblins ,men ,dwarfs and all sorts of creatures but he never fancied them. He liked being by himself in his own small hut. When he saw the elves he never really did mind because in his land if anyone came in your home they were declared visitors which was very vague.


Burt welcomed the elves and they sat on the couch. The eldest elf of them all was named Erit. He told Burt that the elves came far from the north and wanted him to join them in their journey as he had heard that Burt was a great  puzzle solver but that was when Burt was young and bold but now he is just a shy man in his own hut. The journey was far in the south and the plot was to find the hidden treasure that the goblins hid while the great war was going on. Erit's grandfather had passed on the map
and it was with him along with a queer box.


The problem was that the path was ruined by time and the guardian of the mysterious door was a fierce 2 headed serpent which was under the great lake. After all the explanation, Burt agreed. All the elves were exclaiming with joy but sadly I knew that after all these years I didn't have it in me. Erit said that the journey will start tomorrow. Burt was exited but also very scared. 


We had all packed our bags and were ready to head south. First we had to cross the valley. Reto, the third youngest elf had been on the most adventures and was helping the fatter elves like Pander and Zander. It was a short journey but a dangerous one. After that they climbed the hill and were in front of the great lake. Erit took out the map and the box and headed down into the lake followed by all the other elves and Burt himself. They were down in the secret chamber as expected. Then it was Burt's turn. He was the greatest puzzle solver of his time and it was now his time to shine. He opened the box and took out the puzzle pieces. It took him a while to solve it but when he did he was the happiest man ever.

He longed for some adventure in life, something fun and interesting. He was thin and had curly hair.  He wasn't patient and would want to do everything in a hurry to come first.                        One day when he was walking to the vegetable market, he noticed a blue door surrounded by many varieties of flowers. He dropped his bags and ran towards the door which was calling out to him with its fragrant flowers. He slowly opened the door to find a beautiful place inside. It had lush green forests and fragrant flowers. The trees dances and the wind whistled by.
 He kept walking ahead and suddenly spotted and little furry rabbit. "Hello", it said to him in its soft squeaky voice. "I am Fluffy. I am very happy to see you here. You see, the magnificent place is going to vanish very soon and my friends here and I wish you could help save it ", he pleaded. Jack was thrilled to encounter adventure. " I will surely do everything I can " , he said jumping up and down and ran off. " But wait !", cried Fluffy in despair. It was too late though. Jack was already on his way to find a way to save this magical place.
 After he had ran out of the door he realized  that he had no idea what he should do. He tried to run back to Fluffy , but the door had slammed shut behind and him . He knocked and tried to pull it and push it open. Nothing seemed to work. He finally accepted defeat and sat at the door , hoping that it would open sometime. He waited for a long time patiently. The sky had turned dark now, but Jack still kept sitting there hopefully. Suddenly he felt a furry cotton like something tapping his shoulder. It was Fluffy ! Fluffy sprang his arms around him and hugged him tight and thanked him for saving them all. Jack was confused and asked him what he had done. " This door is a magical one. It gives anyone who enters an opportunity to overcome their weak areas. You waited patiently and showed it that you now how not to be restless and impatient. Congratulations !"
   Jack hugged him back and thanked the door. He walked back home with a spring in the his step and feeling very happy and 
proud of himself.

I always wondered what was behind that blue door near our house. Nothing really adventurous happened in Toms life. Every morning he woke up did his morning routine and then went to work. His long silky orange hair covered his freckled skin on his face and his orange and golden dreamy eyes. Tom was a tall, thin man with a small cottage by his side. He had lived there for as long as he could remember because after he graduated his parents got him a house  before they moved to London.
