Racial discrimination is any discrimination against any individual on the basis of their skin color, or racial or ethnic origin. Individuals can discriminate by refusing to do business with, socialize with, or share resources with people of a certain group

-Two in 3 Black adults cite discrimination as a significant source of stress in their life.
-Asian and Black Americans are more likely than other groups to report negative experiences related to their race or ethnicity during the pandemic
-discrimination is linked to higher rates of smoking, alcohol use, drug use, and unhealthful eating habits.
-This suggests that racial bias is causing medical professionals to use different thresholds of pain for different racial groups.

Which is a condition of development, and a matter of sustainable peace and security. 
Can be seen: 

  • Child marriage.
  • Female genital mutilation.
  • Honour killings.
  • Trafficking for sex or slavery.
  • Intimate partner violence.
  • Physical punishment.
  • Sexual, emotional or psychological violence.

Global:
- Gender-based violence has been increasingly on the political agenda of the human rights organizations in Europe.
- Violence against women is caused by gender inequality  including unequal power relations between women and men.
- Violence against women and girls is one of the most prevalent human rights violations in the world. In fact an estimated one in three women will experience physical or sexual abuse in her lifetime.

National:
 - This is especially the case of Chilean women, who have one of the lowest rates of employment in Latin America.

-Police brutality is often seen used on minorities.

Global:
-In Autralia the law inforcement don't have access to guns, so they use tasers. There have been many reports of people not resisting arrest but still being tased. From what i've seen there have been two reported taser ralated deaths.

-Another thing that police have done is pepper spraying people during peaceful protests, even bystanders get pepper sprayed even though they hadn't even participated in the protests themselves.

-In the USA its more a thing about race, there have been seen alot is police shooting black people, most of the times for unwarranted reasons and often leading to death.
