Narrative elements in prose texts and poetry are quite similar. Elements such as setting, character and point of view can be used in both types of writing. However, in prose texts, narrative elements can be more explicit and elaborated on, while poetry makes it more difficult to clearly see and sometimes understand the different narrative elements. Poetry leaves more to be inferred than prose texts, so it can be more difficult to convey narrative elements.

Narrative elements in prose text are different in poetry because of the way that the elements are conveyed. In poetry, there is more of a structure because of each stanza. However, because there is not a certain structure in a prose text, it is easier to see the different elements used than in poetry because of the shortened paragraphs.

Narrative elements in prose texts and poetry are similar because they use characterization, setting and other elements. In prose texts it goes more in depth about these elements while poetry is less in depth and requires one to decipher it. Prose texts are written in paragraphs meanwhile poetry is written in stanzas.

I think that narrative elements are the same in both prose texts and poetry. Narrative elements can be used in any text that isn't nonfiction. You can use narrative elements in paintings, poetry, stories, rap, or songs because it's not about what kind of text it is, but usually whether it is fiction or nonfiction.

The narrative elements in a prose text differs from poetry because the value of using short sentences in a stanza is of no more because you can no longer use it to convey a deep or symbolic meaning. It just does not sound the same opposed to if you were writing a novel and writing long sentences. The sentences in a novel develops characters more than in poetry because of how quick it runs.

Narrative elements in prose texts are different in poetry because the structure of the way is set up is different. In a prose, it is compiled more with sentences and flow, unlike poetry where it has stanzas and could shift from one perspective to another without flow. Prose is similar to poetry because it uses the narrative elements but with a unique style.

There is more freedom in prose texts compared to poetry because it's longer and can have multiple topics within the story.

Narrative elements in prose texts differ in poetry because the structure of poetry is total different from something like a story. An author could be more descriptive in a story whereas a poet only tends to focus on one subject. They're also similar in a sense of setting, character development and point of view.
