Patterns from many different cultures seem to interest him collaging them together with his own use of pattern and shape. I like the variety of the patterns. It looks like he paints freely, painting what ever comes next ( a way I would like to paint if I could) Its a very unique version of a portrait. It feels warm and lively. I love the way the artist cuts and combines and overlaps text and images together to make images look like they connect with each other. I like the variety of intense colors.
