<title>Pain Physiology Introduction by Alan Rastelli</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/osteophacts/jg9duy3jym0r</link>
<description>This theory lecture presents a couple of concepts that bothered me when I was studying to become an osteopath. After learning these concepts and understanding a bit more about pain I became more confident with my ddx so I thought I would share these with you.
Together, we are going to learn how to clinically distinguish visceral from somatic and neuropathic pain. How central sensitisation plays a role in both acute and chronic pain and more. The evening will start with the relevant neuroanatomy and will see from there. All students and staff are welcome.

FEEL FREE to ask any question about pain you would like to discuss.</description>
