Initially, I wanted to convey how there is a lack of high-quality and personalized education in unprivileged communities which can thereby enforce limits on social mobility. As explored, education empowers critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and engaged citizens which subsequently promotes individual growth and inspires people to move up in the social ladder in our community. However, after close analysis and first-hand experience, I realized that in these poor communities, the people are truly happy and joyful to be alive. For this reason, I used a similar analogous color scheme inspired by my author's body of work "Animals" which relies on different tones of orange in a sunset. In doing so, it will evoke feelings of compassion and empathy in my audience regarding these unprivileged communities all while still centering on the idea of joy and freedom. In addition, I included the sea in the photograph to manifest the "endless freedom" they have in life for joy despite being limited by their socioeconomic situation in life. As a result, it is evident that they make the most out of what they have and they find creative ways to have fun in life which is why in the photograph you can find two kids using plastic trays as boats on the left-hand side. The purpose behind capturing this small detail is to communicate to my audience how knowledge and learning derived from experiences and interactions with others can serve to be as valuable as high-quality education as it connects to a personal level. For this reason, I come to express the significance behind learning and interacting with others and how such education can also encourage growth in a society as it teaches and solidifies values and mindsets, thus promoting growth in a unique manner.

Moreover, another technique similar to my body of work which I used is centering my photograph on the dominant element. In my pastiche, I made the sunset the dominant element which also has the primary color of my analogous color scheme; a similar technique used by Storm Thorgerson. I then build the rest of the photograph around the sun which is why I framed the fishermen next to the sun to make it the subordinate element in my photograph and what my audience subconsciously sees next. By creating an internal structure reliant on the dominant element and color scheme selected, I can play with the message I seek to communicate in different contexts. For instance, the following presents how in Punta Hermosa, due to the poor access and quality of education, many people have to make a living from fishing which is not a sustainable form of income as harvest is heavily susceptible to changes in weather and climate. Nevertheless, they have a deeper connection to nature and life as a whole which in turn makes them more aware of their surroundings and experience in life. I communicate how they are joyful in the process of fishing as countless beautiful things come from nature such as astonishing sunsets. I decided to expand the concept that nature is our best instructor in life and it can guide us to true happiness in life. Many people have the common belief that money equates to happiness and even though it can contribute to such a result, it is not the only factor in play. In fact, it is minimal considering other factors in life. Having this in mind, I waited for the exact moment a group of birds got close to the sun and the end of the dock. The bird inside the"cage" represents the people in society that believe money is the answer to happiness. In contrast, the bird outside the cage is the people that comprehend the complexity of happiness and account for other factors that contribute to such emotion other than money. Such people are the fishermen who are free from societies oppressing cage and expectations for economic development showcasing how nature truly is one's best teacher in life, even competent to the education provided in communities by humans.

Finally, through my photograph's ambiance and scenery, it is evident that all the people included have a sense of unity with each other which is something they have developed due to their shared experiences and connection in nature. Even though these individuals are not all family, they still have developed an intimate relationship with each other to the point they consider themselves to be family. Consequently, the intricacy of knowledge derived from nature and interactions is displayed and manifested in the photograph with the hopes of creating greater unity within our society as a whole disregarding socioeconomic statuses. It proposes and incentivizes individuals with greater economic development in society to experience the beauty and lessons nature has prepared for us and thus serves as a medium to connect individuals in our society from different ends in economic development, due to access to education, promoting mutual growth for both parties.
