I believe that depending on the circumstances some evil actions can be justified if completed for an honorable intent. If a person commits a crime in attempt to save a person would that be considered mean? Another example of "evil" actions is while serving in the military. A person may be killing another if they are in the Army but they do so "honorably" and are supported for serving their country. A vegan activist (Gary Yourofsky) broke into a place where minks were being skinned for fur and let them out. That is just an example of one thing he's done, but he has done many things like that, leading to him being banned from the UK as well as Canada. It's difficult to wrap your head around someone breaking into some place and seeing it as an honorable act. However, this controversial activist has saved the lives of many different species of animals, which, to me, could lead to peace and equality for all living things. It all depends on the person's point of view, for there'll always be an individual out there who'll believe that the wrong thing is right, and that the right thing is wrong.

If someone did something wrong but the did it for a good reason it is still wrong.  If he is going to feed his family and actually does give all of the money back than it is justifiable but that doesn't mean it is right. He should ask the man if he could borrow it and promise to repay it and the man might have given him some of the money and then he wouldn't have had to steel.
