A birds eye angle is taken from a very high point, looking down upon the scene like a bird would. A birds eye angle must be flat and look from directly above the subject. A benifit of using birds eye perspective is that it can show scenery and when filmed as a video it can show travel. A limitation of birds eye angle is that it can't give much information about character and cannot include dialogue. It also can't show specific details.

A low angle is taken from a very low point, usually taken from the subjects feet. This technique can show empowerment and aggressiveness in characters. Low angles provoke fear and uncertainty within an audience. The benefit of using a low angle is that when used well it can show power in a character. However the limitation is that the subject can swallow up the scenery.
