My experience in carpentry is one of the most enjoyable parts of my learning journey. I’m happy to have been part of this activity because I learned a lot — from properly using tools to building simple projects like tables and chairs. With every nail I hammered and piece of wood I shaped, I gained more patience, discipline, and creativity. It’s not just about building things, but also about appreciating the value of hard work and detail. This is an experience I will never forget, and I look forward to doing it again to further improve my skills and knowledge.

By:Junel Salido

Trying carpentry for the first time was a fantastic and unforgettable experience. I never imagined that working with wood, nails, and tools could bring so much joy and satisfaction. From measuring and cutting pieces to hammering and assembling, every step taught me something valuable — not just about carpentry, but also about patience, accuracy, and problem-solving.

One of my favorite moments was completing a small wooden shelf that I built with my own hands. At first, I made a few mistakes, but with guidance and determination, I was able to fix them and finish strong. Seeing the final product gave me a deep sense of pride. I realized that carpentry isn’t just a skill — it’s an art form, one that teaches you to focus, create, and appreciate the value of effort.

What made it even more amazing was sharing the experience with others, helping each other learn and succeed. Carpentry taught me that great things can be built not only with tools, but also with teamwork and passion. I’m thankful for the experience, and I know it’s something I’ll carry with me, whether for future projects or just as a reminder that I can build something meaningful with my own hands.

My laboratory experience has been one of the most exciting and eye-opening parts of my learning journey. The moment I stepped into the lab, I felt like a true scientist—curious, focused, and eager to explore the unknown. Every experiment we did, whether it was mixing chemicals, using microscopes, or observing reactions, felt like a small discovery.

One of my favorite experiences was observing cells under the microscope for the first time. It was amazing to see something so tiny and yet so complex. I realized that science is not just about memorizing facts—it's about discovery, observation, and asking questions.

What made it even more fantastic was working with classmates. We learned how to collaborate, follow safety protocols, and solve problems together. There were moments when things didn’t go as planned, but we treated every mistake as part of the process. Those lessons stayed with me.

The laboratory taught me more than just science. It taught me to be precise, curious, and resilient. I truly enjoyed every moment, and I look forward to more experiments in the future. Being in the lab made me feel capable and inspired—like I was part of something bigger than myself.
