On different sites I found different things on her siblings such as; she was 1 of 8 kids, 1 of 5 kids, 1 of 4 kids. She lived in Tylertown, Mississippi until she was 4 then moved to New Orleans.</div>]]></description>

One of those people were Barbara Henry, white teacher from Boston, was Ruby’s teacher for the entire first year of school. Barbara offered to come and teach Ruby and Ruby learned in a vacant classroom with just Barbara for an entire first year of school. </div>]]></description>

He saw Ruby one day while he was stuck in traffic by mob of people who would surround the entrance to the school to harass Ruby. He then asked Ruby’s parents to counsel her for free. He would have sessions with her and make her transform her feelings about her experiences into words or pictures.</div>]]></description>

It is a painting by Norman Rockwell which is called “ The Problem We All Live With. “. It is a painting recreating Ruby Bridges’ first day of integrating schools. In 2011, the museum loaned the painting to be displayed in the West Wing of the White House for 4 months dues to a request from Barack Obama. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ruby wasn’t the only one who was effected by the integration. Ruby’s parents were also being treated unfairly. Ruby’s dad, Abon Bridges, was fired from his job. Ruby’s grandparents were also effected, they were sent off land that they sharecropped for 25 years. Some grocery stores including the one the family went often to shop there banned them from entering.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On some sites where I got my resources I found that about 4 were chosen but didn’t go or that 3 other 1st graders, all girls, went to integrate at a different school named McDonough 19. The kids, like many other African Americans were to take a test to decide if they should be chosen to integrate. It is said that the test was made to be very difficult, hoping no one would pass it.</div>]]></description>
