My family went to a nonstop 17 hour flight to Singapore which cost us a lot of money just for the 4 plane tickets. The day after arriving, we went to the famous Marina Bay where we toured around and got a lot of good memories while going around the country. On my birthday I went to Universal Studios Singapore for the first time,  which cost my family a lot because of the expensive tickets and foods. After spending time around, a lot of first times were made and ecstatic memories to be cherished.

This relates to the theme because after spending a lot of money, our family had a lot of time to bond and leave stress behind. Traveling gave us a perspective of a different life and cultures in new countries. Luckily, my whole family got a free flight because of my mom 's frequent flyer points. What I did in the Philippines was I spent my birthday in a famous island called Boracay. For my birthday my mom paid for a private boat and did scuba diving around the island. I was mesmerized when I dove in the water, seeing a lot of corals and various fishes. After my birthday, we spent a day relaxing on the sea shore relaxing and spending time with my Dad and Grandma before we leave.

This relates to the theme because it shows that going to trips and going to something new will be worth it even if its expensive  because  you'll get a perfect time to have fun and bond with your family. After going to Singapore, my mom booked a trip to Malaysia and went to its capital city there I got the chance to see there culture and try there food. After that I saw the world famous, Petronas Towers or Twin Towers and then at Kuala Lumpur, we went to Legoland Malaysia and had a fun time riding roller coasters, watching a lot of shows and see displays. 

This relates to the theme because  going to different countries will show you the other side of the world and experience something new in life.
