<title>Recovery Rate is the time taken for your heart to return to its resting heart rate after stopping exercise. People with higher cardiovascular fitness levels have a lower resting heart rate, so the heart has more time to fill with blood. This extra time means that more blood gets pumped out with each beat. </title>
