1. By incorporating the Approaches to ATL: Learning (ATL) framework into mathematics instruction, students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, and self-management, which are crucial for success in mathematics and beyond. For instance, I design differentiated activities that require students to analyze problem-solving strategies, communicate their reasoning effectively, and manage their time efficiently. When students are given differentiated instructions, they will be motivated to work because they are getting hints and help to reach to their goal.

2)Pedagogy or andragogy?

A pedagogical approach characterized by direct instruction and structured activities may be more suitable, focusing on building foundational mathematical concepts through guided practice such as differentiated lessons and reinforcement. An andragogical approach emphasizing self-directed learning and inquiry-based exploration may be more effective. This approach encourages students to take ownership of their learning, explore mathematical concepts independently, and engage in collaborative problem-solving activities.
