The moment it all started for Joan was at the age of only 13, when she begins to hear voices. She claims it’s the voice of God sending her on a mission to seat Charles Vll on the throne of France. This is a main reason for her for her success became Jeanne’s determination. She required this determination to push through certain obstacles she had to overcome. When she was 16 her father attempted to marry her off to some guy, but she convinced the local court that it would be a mistake. In an attempt to make herself known and to further herself towards the ultimate goal, she had to dress like a man in order to publicly lead Charles’ armies.
