The article was about how the electoral college is important to the voting system. The article also explained why democrats would like to get rid of the electoral college. This source is useful because it explains pros and cons of getting rid o the electoral college. The article explains that getting rid of the electoral college would cause politicians to pool in huge states to win the population vote. Fox News is a historically republican biased source but this article seemed to not be biased and it explained point of views from both sides. This source was helpful to me and my research because of the information it provided. going back to the pooling in large states topic, I never thought about that.

the main argument is that Trump lost the 2020 election fair and square. This ties into the electoral college because Trump claimed that it was rigged against him. This source was useful because it breaks down the process of what happened. It also broke down what Trump was arguing when he claimed it got him to lose the election. The 2020 election was a huge election. This article brings light to the facts of the controversy.

this article is about a new system being proposed called NPV. They argue that we need better election security rather than taking away the electoral college. This source is useful because it provides information to back up the electoral college unlike the other articles. The goal of this source is to explain how the NPV system would do the opposite of what they are trying to do by getting rid of the electoral college. This fits into my research by providing a new alternative and explaining how we can fix the electoral college. Newsweek explains how getting rid of it can do more harm than help.

The perils of being indifferent to the electoral college can keep you uneducated. And you can make choices based on untrue and biased information. In the last article by Newsweek there was a solution proposed called NPV. This solution did prove to do more harm than good. When all is said you should educate yourself on topics like these as they are important to our presidential elections.
