This involves the London bridge attack which effected everyone across the country. This mental health scheme is for people effected by the attack including  the bereaved, the injured, people who were at the incidents, as well as their close family including children, members of the emergency services and those providing initial care after the attacks. There were so many people helped by the Salvation Army in Southwark, near London Bridge, in the hours following the terror attack. Some of these people didn't have anywhere to go after the attack so had to stay the night with the salvation army. During this time they were given food and water, able to call family and taxis to get home and also had a place to fell safe. communication, which includes written and verbal communication. The communication between all three services were very good in this situation. The police nearly always take control of the situation and with this being a terrorist attack they were the service that all the other services listened to so everyone was on the right track and all working together. 

The police found out that there were three men running around the streets with knifes and had to attend the situation immediately and the police then had to inform the ambulance service of the whereabouts of injured people and any other causalities in the area so that these people could get treatment as soon as possible. The communication and teamwork between the police and ambulance service were very good during this horrible time and they made sure that everyone was treated as soon as possible and also the police were making sure areas were safe for other services to enter to treat these people.

They needed to find a safe place for the people to be evacuated to. They also need to cordon off the area so that no more pedestrians could enter the scene and either get hurt or disturb any evidence. Once the police cleared the area to the best of their ability they decided to pursue the three men who were causing all the problems. When the scene was declared safe then they would go into the cordoned off area to treat causalities as soon as possible. The ambulance service then set up a temporary medical centre while on the scene and began to treat people there and they also created a temporary morgue for the people who died at the scene. They sent the correct units to respond within a quick time. The first call about the incident was made at 10:08PM and the first responding team was there within 5 minutes which would have prevented in further injurie or even deaths from happening in this terror incident. 10 minutes after the first call there were 8 armed response police officers at the scene from 3 ARVs that patrol in London. The shot and killed all 3 attackers using 50 rounds from their rifles. The one negative about this was that the officers were not authorised to take a critical shot on the attackers and took it to their own initiative to do so. In my personal opinion I believe this was a good thing to do as the situation may have become bigger and got out of hand if they tried to stop the attackers without brute force from their weapons. The other non armed officers who were on the edge of the cordon also done a fantastic job in stopping any traffic or pedestrians from entering the cordoned off area.]]> 2018-10-11 14:34:06 UTC https://padlet.com/lewisfletcher48/jfoeuxelqygm/wish/291754022 M1 Ambulance lewisfletcher48 https://padlet.com/lewisfletcher48/jfoeuxelqygm/wish/291761266 Due to the ambulance service not being able to enter the area until it was safe the paramedics had to be very quick in helping the people on London bridge. 55 people on the bridge needed treatment and 7 of them were fatal, the other 47 were given immediate treatment and survived with a range of different injuries. They had to provide aid to all of these people and also had to decide who was in a safe and stable position to be transported to a hospital for further treatment. The ambulance service done this very well even when under pressure from the stress of the scene and amount of casualties. The temporary medical centre and morgue were also a good factor within their work as they done this away from the public so that is was a less stressful and traumatic scene.
