When prey gets close, primary tendrils will breach the surface and thrash violently onto the prey, and inject them with an anticoagulant and a paralyzing toxin
Prey will bleed out, secondary tendrils will consume the blood for nutrients and drag the dead prey's body underground to be consumed as well
Grows from the Crawl
When reaching the end of its lifespan, it will pop, scattering blood in the vicinity

these lil guys are basically humanoid creatures that live in Lameria's desert, and collect sand and use their canisters to freeze it into brick-like shapes, which they use to build their homes, these bricks are known as Dustmortar
all sandcarriers have extremely hardened fists to attack enemies or protect themselves
the canisters are made of glass harder than even bullet proof glass, and are passed down from generation to generation
each sandcarrier has a different job, but all have canisters
the 5 recorded jobs are: Collector (collects sand and makes dustmortar out of it, or mine materials underground) Defender (use metal that Collectors collect to create sentry guns powered by sand, and operate those sentry guns to protect their city) Architect (use dustmortar and metal to make buildings and machines) Caretaker (protect sandcarrier eggs at all costs, and make sure all of them reach adulthood successfully) King (leader)
