The most tragic earthquakes in Kazakhstan

According to Zakon.kz,between 2001 and 2011, Kazakhstan experienced 5 powerful earthquakes that exceeded the magnitude of 6.

In December 2003. A 6 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Sumba. Earthquake in KZ and how to been saved by them?

Do you know what natural disasters occur in our country? Especially, an earthquake threatens the inhabitants of our country, in which places it most often occurs etc. This article tells about it.
Natural disasters are devastating phenomena with irreversible consequences.In many countries, an earthquake is an urgent and dangerous problem.Also, some areas of our country has earthquakes with different consequences. One of the most powerful examples of earthquakes in Kazakhstan is a strong earthquake occured in Verny (Almaty) on May 28,1887 with magnitude 9.0.During this incident were 332 people died and 1798 brick houses were destroyed. By the way, the last earthquake was in Atyrau with magnitude 4.0.
In my opinion, everybody should to know how to act during the earthquake. I can give some advices, how to keep yourself and family or other people in this situation.
Firstly, you should download an app for tracking earthquake. This apps can warn you in case of possible earthquake and you will have some time to warn other people and be ready.
Secondly, during the earthquake you should take cover under table or desk. It can save you from hitting broken items to you. Also, stay away from fragile or hanging items as it can harm you.

Thirdly, if you are outdoors, drop to the ground in a clear spot away from buildings, trees and power lines. If you are driving – pull over, stop and set your parking brake. Avoid bridges, power lines, trees, signs, buildings and other things that may fall on your car.
In conclusion, an earthquake can harm you and the people around you. Therefore, we need to know this advices and how to give first aid as it can save somebody’s life.

Alatau in Almaty were the reason of earth shakes in in 1887, the Verny earthquake with a magnitude of about 7.3 had its epicentre a few kilometres west of the city but did not produce surface ruptures according to the history books. There were some damaged houses and victims, but after danger people were kept calm by the government, that they have built bunkers with safe area. But this solution can't be the best, moreover nowadays there old built houses and schools, children and older people must not be in such places. Because in the future there can be unpredictable events and we are not ready to this.

Natural disasters have always caused disruptions to normal human activity. The areas most exposed to natural disasters in Kazakhstan are Zhambyl, Almaty, South Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan. Less susceptible to natural phenomena are the West-Kazakhstan, Atyrau and Mangistau regions. Floods and earthquakes are the most frequently observed in the Republic of Kazakhstan.Warning about possible natural catastrophe allows population to prepare thoroughly and carry out necessary works. People must be prepared to provide first aid and participate in the reconstruction work. Works on localization of natural phenomena are very important for rendering first aid to victims and for fast restoration of destructions.
