A good tip I picked up from this article, was that teachers can create alternate learning spaces that encourage students to take charge in their educations, mostly by making the material accessible to watch before class-or after as a type of study to help absorb the content! 

It touched on how not only will they become great collaborators, but learn or ease themselves into digital citizenship! Guiding them through how to properly adhere to the growing nature of netiquette! 

I also saw opportunities to grow as a collaborator, becoming digital penpals with students from all around the world. 

Aforementioned, the skills from these activities would really benefit students as they adapt to the classroom as it increasingly is going digital. They gain self motivation, reading skills, writing skills & the ability to self monitor themselves, as they see the teacher model an appropriate ways to collaborate with others.

I took a screenshot of the ten tips because I wanted to touch on a few that stood out to me the most. 

The first one was actually, tip #2. "Plan it out in the Summer." 
When we were first pitched virtual learning, the first thing I did  focus on the struggle. Like many people, to destress and get my mind of things, I hopped on my phone and got on tiktok. As the universe does, it lead it right to the this teacher, who introduced a bitmoji website. It was so complex and intriguing! I wanted to try it and make it more accessible, so I did research-it took me almost a complete month to finish and research tools and tricks that would benefit myself, but im so glad I DID! I utilize this resource to this day and I really think my students enjoy it as much as I do! 

I do feel that this leads me to tip #4, Asynchronous tools. I think this goes as easy as saying, it just makes things a little easier. 

Lastly #9, pay attention to culture, class and race! 
Not everyone has the opportunity to access technology at home! it's a privilege, and it's something that shouldn't be assumed everyone has. These factors are pretty high in rural areas and making things accessible in whatever form you can benefits not just you, but the families as well!
