Louis Armstrong contributed greatly to the evolution of jazz music by developing the "swing' style in his music. Also, his vocals influenced other artists to give that powerful voice to songs creating a more upbeat song and inspiring a new way to sing. Overall, he changed music and made the foundation of jazz in America and worldwide.
