-My SIL is Marine Biology.
-A value that I learned from My SIL activity is that Marine Biologists are always curious and they are also always imaginative.
-I understand what Marine Biologist do on a daily basis, the importance of marine life/organisms. I can apply this knowledge from knowing the importance of Marine life by recycling for example to save the fishes, turtles Etc.

-My SIL is learning japanese
- A certain value I learned is that learning japanese is hard than to look at it. You have to learn how to write the characters properly so that you can understand what the character meant. You too have to learn how to speak it in a proper way too. Also i learnt more about the culture as i was curious and when on finding some things that i didn't knew about japan.
-I was able to apply my learning because i used an app called duolingo to help with my understanding of some japanese words. I note it all he things I learn about japanese in my note book and hope to continue learning about it again on the next hbl day:]

-My SIL is learning French
-A value that I learnt I from my SIL activity, is that learning French is not that easy. It is easy to write but difficult to pronounce it. You also have keep repeating the French words again and again until you get it right. I also learnt more things that I didn't know about France. When i got to know them, I got so shocked...
-I was able to speak French with a little help from websites and my siblings...I note all the French words down on a notebook and try memorizing them. I really look forward to the next home-based learning( if we are doing this again):)

a value that i learned is that even though its hard but i still have to keep trying when i cycled i was stunned and elated and im doing it again

-My SIL is learning how to play soccer
- Values that I learned from playing soccer is teamwork, perserverance and decision making.From what I know, these 3 values are the key to playing soccer.Without it, I won't be able to achieve.
-I was able to apply what I have learned by determination to be selected in the first and second trial of the soccer girls cca and my first experience of playing soccer was the first trial of the soccer girls cca.
I hope to continue to get better in my soccer training to get what I want to achieve.I look forward to share more about my SIL on 28/01/22. :)

my SIL is learning how to cook simple things
this weeks dish was a grilled cheese sandwich
the habit that is needed in this activity is patience as if you have too little or too much the dish would come out undercooked or overcooked whereas undercooked means the bread isn't toasted properly and overcooked as in the toast being burnt and so is the cheese
the skill patience is much needed in multiple situations in life and can be applied in many different ways such as waiting for someone to go to a certain place at a certain time if you are too late or too early multiple different outcomes will occur
I cannot, however, post a video or photo as my computer's camera doesn't work and my account is locked on my phone so sorry!

my SIL is learning how to cook simple fried rice.
The key in success in cooking fried rice is patience as
we would need to wait for the fried rice to heat up and must
constantly turn the fried rice to ensure that the fried rice does not get burnt. I feel that patience is about not rushing to do things at once, we need to follow step by step and adding every ingredients in sequence.

My SIL is about learning how to defend myself. I searched up videos that would give me a basic idea on what to do when someone attacks me. I learned how to defend myself when someone tries to bear hug me and trying to steal my things, I tested this on my brother but since his way stronger of course I couldn’t defend myself that good ;-; but I’m hoping to improve in my next SIL.

my SIL today is cycling. I never knew how to cycle as my parents didn't get me a bicycle when I was young so I didn't learn how to but now my mother and my brother both have bicycles so now I can slowly learn how to ride a bicycle. now I am learning how to go in a straight line and keep my balance the value I learned that day was perseverance as whenever I fell off my bike I would just get up again trying over and over again till I succeed I can apply this example is whenever I am looking for a job when I grow up and whenever I get denied to go to that job I would persevere and adjust accordingly (side note: I still don't know how to properly ride a bicycle;-;)

My SIL for today is learning simple everyday life words in the Korean language. I have always wanted to learn the Korean language as I have wanted to go to Korea for the longest time to see the amazing view and also to eat famous Korean food. A value I learnt while learning this language is that I should not give up so easily as some words are a little harder than others to pronounce and also to write. I can use this skill while learning other new things like a new language, math as math is my poorest subject and for a new skill I would like to learn in the future. I might continue my SIL for this language for the next few weeks as it takes time to master to Korean language.( I still can't pronounce the words properly..:[ )

I am still continuing my SlL from last week so ...
This week, I am focusing on improving to juggle the soccer ball in my training and focusing on how to aim to where I'm gonna kick the ball to and I have to build up my stamina by excercising on some weekends like sometimes if my mother want to climb bukit timah hill or have a long walk in green corridor she would asked me if I want to join her for it, and I would because it would help me build up my stamina and improve my leg muscles,I would always go at my own pace to control my breathing.I happen to be going bukit timah hill this Sunday and it would be tiring and Challenging as I haven't went there in a long time.The last time when I Often go there was in 2019 because I wanted to build up my stamina to climb Mount Ophia in Malaysia,I still continued to go bukit timah hill and other places like green corridor and capel hill and macritchie, labrodor park, Hort park and more places in 2020, 2021 and even now but not often. My soccer cca training in school is only two days a week, It is enough and every morning I cycle to School and it's down slope all the way but when I came back from school I aIways had to cycle up hill and it is quite challenging but it's not a problem because my house is near it just takes about less than 10 minutes to reach and going up hill takes a longer time with a school bag. But I'm more than happy if it really helps with my stamina and leg muscles.

My SIL for today will be the same as 2 weeks ago Learning the Korean Language still in simple everyday words tho. I have not come to a point to learn sentences. So pardon me if I take too long to learn the Korean Language I am not a very fast learner. As I said before I will continue this Learning a new language for the next few SIL we will have. my SIL for today is to learn how to edit a video in Apple clips and once i have master the technique in video editing i will move on to doloby premium to edit more video during the holiday

I am doing a different SIL from the last few weeks...
My SIL for today is learning how to draw animes. I am good at art but I can't draw animes. I got interested in learning how to draw animes so i started looking for youtube video on anime drawings, And i got a few tips from the videos i watch like how do i start of with the drawings like do i have to draw guiding lines, and the technic to draw it,the way i should shade and more. one of the youtube video that gives me ideas on how to draw animes,i posted on the top below my name as you all can see. It helped me alot in learning how to draw animes.coz its all about shading, colouring,textures and more. On the next SIL proposal, I will show how my drawing turned out to be. I am looking forward to it. I'm planing to draw, itachi from the anime naruto. I hope i can draw it out well that it can almost look the same.😁

This is the last week I am doing my SIL learning the Korean language. But I will Still continue this on my own free time because I have not really mastered well the language. It takes time to perfect it and I am not not Korean nor fluent in the language so it will take even longer...I will still continue to add in new words and continue to progress. :)

-My SIL for today is still learning French
-A value that I learnt I from my SIL activity, is that learning French is quite easy. It is easy to write and pronounce it. You also have keep repeating the French words again and again until you get it right. I also learnt more things that I didn't know about things that were happening in France. When I got to know them, I got so shocked and I told my family members about it. I also have a notebook to write down all the translations of words that I could and couldn't remember. The funny part is that I spoke French to my mom that she got so clueless and started ignoring me cause she got so 🤬 off...I spoke French to my dad and he answered me back in French but in a smoother way....I also spoke French to my older siblings and they praised me for learning and pronouncing the word right....they also encouraged me to learn a few more French words so that I complete sentences easily...that's pretty much what I wanted to say.. Have a great weekend ahead!!!!

My Sil is the same but Im continuing it. Before I started drawing this way before SIL started I had a dream of this girl. When the first day of SIl started I started drawing parts by parts. Today's part is the details and the outfit. Some parts are not finish as I am sleepy after 5 hours on it. (Details,outfit) For my next SIl I will be either outlining or colouring. Hope my next SIl won't took me so long as the other previous Sil.

My SIL for today was kind of a last minute decision. I was freaking out on what to do but on Wednesday (9/3/2022) my band teacher allowed me to bring home my instrument. In band, I am a brass player, I play the trumpet. The musical notes I play is Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So La, Ta (Ti), Do. I can play all but for my La and Ta they require more air to get a higher pitch then the others.
So, for my SIL I will be working on my La and Ta I will only be focusing on this two notes as in my opinion it is harder to play and I also cannot push my-self to play it immediately as it can damage my lips.(R.I.P my lungs today:/)

My Sil for today is learning french and learning an arab song at the same time..I don't actually know why i wanted two Sil(S)..but i really had a fun time learning both and most probably want to do both the next hbl...

French: I am soooo happy that i can speak a little fluent right now..I spoke to my dad french and he was so impressed..but my pronounciation gets quite stuck due to my accent..when i spoke french to my brother, he accidentally answered me in spanish and i was confused so i went to translate what he said in spanish..He said that im such a failure and he hopes that i can improve more on my pronounciation! My mom is still 🤬 off cause I spoke french to her for the whole day and i also kept referring to my notebook for the meaning..i also want to improve on something..i dont want to keep referring to my notebook to look for meanings...

Arab song: The beat of the song was catchy and i learnt the dance for the song; made me keep listening to it...the pronounciation is super difficult and rap part was the most difficult..But im seriously in love with the song...My mom had a headache cause she heard the song at least for like 30-35 times today(11/3/22) and she could'nt concentrate on her work..Now, she has been listening to the song on her spotify and dancing randomly..Its so funny to see her dance and sing the song(totally out of tune)..(OMg...just can't stop laughing when i am typing this...)
I really want to do this the next Sil or HBl?

For my sil is different from my last sil and i cannot show you all my artwork from my last sil because i didnt had the mood to finish the drawing so ill show it some other time but moving on, my sil for today is writting a story that i dreamt. This story that i dreamt was kind of exciting and very sad. It definitely includes alot of my personality and what i feel like my life is.but i the story only tells a message like not what happened but i kind of got some idea to do it i got the idea from the movie i watched the same night that my cousin reccomended.when i woke up from my dream. I realised that i was crying and thats how deep my feeling went in the dream that i dreamt that night. And this whole sil,could help me in my english. But my story wont sound as good because im bad in english. But ill try my best to make it sound good. To write a story. Writters would write a story that not a person can expect whats gonna happen next to make the story interesting.so it can make the story fun to read. Normally i would not be interested in class and i would not realise that i did not pay attentioin but this is one way that made me interested and i have so many details of making this story. I could only do things at my best when im in the mood. Thats how i am somehow because i realise that when im not in my mood i really cannot do things because it is like im being force but its just the way it is so i just have to blend with it. So my story would be about me.

my sil learning was to relearn how to do proper push ups and seat ups as ive not done since my NAFHA test ended. I got highest score for my cohort and stopped after that cause i needed to study for PSLE.Now, i prolly forget how to do both push up and seat ups but ill practise till i know how.

I am done with this SIL. I start off by parts by parts. Further on the last part I did was colouring. It was the hardest for me. For my next SIL I will be improving my edits either video or photo. <3 I have posted a vid edit I made here earlier so thats an example.
If it allows I can bring this to the class. :D

I am trying something different from my previous Sil. I am gonna make a chocolate cake about a bowl size and chocolate muffins or just cookies, I have tried making chocolate cake and muffins before and I really want to try making cookies but I feel like making muffins and cake instead even when making cookies are easier than making muffins and cakes.the qualities that i can learn from this sil is, patience and you have to be careful because when your mixing the ingredients, you require patience because you might not be careful and make mistake by adding a little more of the ingredient or lesser. I have a sister who likes to bake, and she would give me tips on baking when i ask her, she could bake, brownies, cookies, muffins and more and i could learn more from her. I will upload m video on 29 april if my sil on baking turns out to be good, IF.

I improved my drawing on my old drawing by adding shadows and some highlights and also redrew some of the parts that didn't look so well (my camera did get all the shadows but oh well)

Well my brother and i went cycling to east coast however there was wayyyy to much people and we had to keep on stopping so we just stopped at marina bay to have a snack also my parent couldnt come because they were too tired from the activity they did beforehand also on the way back my bicycle came loose and kept jamming every few seconds but i perservered and rode back home with my brother since i am writing this on my phone i can not close tab and see what i have to write so i will add on later on sorry i guess

I try to improve it and I like how it turned out every step is different.
used overlays and manip the hair was harder than I though of :v for my next SIL I will try video edits since they might come useful to me in the future.
