As I started the year in my 1/2 combo class I had technology on my mind. I not only wanted my students to love technology but I wanted them to know how to use it respectfully, responsibly and safely. With those goals in mind I was so excited to use all the Common Sense Media resources. The lessons were grade level appropriate, kept the students engaged and taught them important skills. I loved that the lessons were easy to access and using them in Pear Deck was extra cool. Starting the year off with the Common Sense Education has made me feel confident in my students, as well as my own, abilities to use technology with common sense.

In sixth grade we use technology all day long. I utilized Common Sense Media as a tool to guide my instruction. It was useful. Students learned how to be safe, respectful and and responsible for their digital footprint. They also learned about how important it is to be careful what you share and what you post. The lessons were helpful and students learned a great deal.
