 If a guy stays silent after a girl tells him about a problem, he should know that he is the next problem. 
"Many women find the strong silent type to be a lure as a lover but a lug as a husband." (Pg. 161)

 Do not tell a girl that she is difficult or she will become even more difficult. Louise: "If you think I'm so stupid why do you go on living with me." Jake: "Dammit! Why can't anything ever be simple around here?!" (Pg. 159)

Find ways to show her/ tell her you care. As stupid as it sounds- if you do NOTHING and say NOTHING to show your girl you care about her- she will (surprisingly) assume you in fact don't care about her.

When texting your girl- don't take forever to respond because the girl will assume she's 'not on your mind' and probably feel like you don't care about her as much as she cares about you.

Realize meta-messages exist so open your minds and realize the situation from the girl's perspective. Even if you think she's being dramatic- she probably has a reason to be so try to understand her side of the fight/ situation.
