I also like to sing a few bars of a popular song and change the words  to my co-workers. I like to make people laugh with my quirky sense of humor. 
As a new staff member, I am very interested in getting to know everyone I work with- and find some commonalities across the grade levels. 
I have really enjoyed getting to know Mrs. Neider, Mrs. Allen, and Mrs Williams ( librarian) outside of school. What fun and interesting people !

I remember the old saying that hung on my great grandmother's kitchen wall that said, "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." I think about that and try to see the positive side to situations that do not go the way that I had in mind.  I try to see the best in others.  There are a lot of intelligent, creative people working here at Carver.  I think we have the potential to be a powerful force if we all worked together.

I struggle with finding the answer. The most honest answer I can give is that I try very hard to provide a welcoming attitude to everyone that comes into our building. I have made an effort to welcome new teachers in our building, to offer assistance to any substitute that might need a helping hand, and  to parents entering our building.  I try to be that person that gets involved in all the building activities and is the worker bee that gets things done.  I have very positive relationships with my students and my grade level team.  
   
Often times I am seen in a different light but I truly have the best intentions at heart.
