The picture shows a country road. Two people cross the street, although a very large car is about to drive past there. The car is titled Climate Change. One of the two people has a speech bubble over her head and says "No, don't get out of the way. It might not hit us." The caricature is very simple in black and white. You can also see that the cartoonist wants to show with a hyperbole how important the subject is. Of course, climate change doesn't hit us within 3 seconds like a truck, so this is an exaggeration.So the message is somehow that it can get a lot more dangerous than it just seems.
In the caricature you can interpret that far too few people really see what the climate change does to us. You think it's not that bad, but only because you don't have all the evidence on hand and see what is happening all over the world. This is a process all over the world and just because beautiful flowers are blooming on your own doorstep and everything is clean, that does not mean that everything is really perfect. The cartoonist wants to show that the danger is not taken seriously and that a car can kill people just as much as climate change. The car can do it in a few seconds and climate change in many years.
Personally, I find the cartoon very convincing. The statement is pretty simple to understand and no color is necessary to make something clearer. I definitely agree with the cartoonist because he sees it as I do on every point. Corona is the best example, because a year ago you bought a lot, few people were outside etc and today a year later everyone is wearing masks, but it is no longer a big deal for most of them and they don't follow the rules. It's the same with climate change. This has not only been an issue for a few months and most people do not even care anymore about the environment and pollute it even more with their consumption.
Corona is also a topic that we are currently very concerned about, but more people will lose their lives to the consequences of climate change than to the corona pandemic and politicians should keep this in mind when they are planning new climate protection goals.

I think it is relevant, because you can see how many organizations are there and every single one is different, so that you can choose between them, if you want to join one.

2.Why did you choose this? 
I chose this topic because I think that when everyone sees how many and different organizations we have, more people will join them. It will get more attention and maybe some people, who did not had interest in it, will may get interested and want to change something, when they see that there are so big organizations.

3.What is important / interesting about it? 
Interesting is about it, that these organizations are quite different. Some organizations have the same aim but not the same strategies or ideas in general, how to get there.
It is important because many people think that they are alone and can not do anything about the climate change as one person. But these organizations are there to show them that there are more people who want to change something and work on it. Because of that more people will change something because they know than that they are not alone and that every little thing they do helps.

1. bookitgreen
This organization helps people who want to travel to find sustainable travel accommodations. Such accommodations try to avoid unnecessary waste, organic food or green electricity. So can travelers have a sustainable and environmentally friendly vacation.


2. Climate KIC
Climate KIC is an international community with different locations across Europe. Their vision is to create "a flourishing, inclusive, climate-resilient society with a climate-neutral circular economy by 2050". In order for it to succeed, the Climate KIC also promotes innovation and the systematic change towards climate protection.


3. Ecosia
Ecosia is a "green search engine" whose profits and income from your searches are used to plant new trees. Ecosia's goal is to plant more and more trees and has been 
CO2-neutral since 2018.

4. Germanwatch e. V.
The environmental and development organization is committed to global justice and the preservation of livelihoods. Their subjects are for example international climate policy, corporate responsibility and education for sustainable development. The focus of the organization is on the exchange with politics, the public and scientific actors.

5. Oroverde
Oroverde is a Tropical Forest Foundation that does many actions for the threatened rain forests. They do this in form of public campaigns such as the Bonn »Regenwaldbus«, educational offers and an information portal for consumers. They are also in the tropics, doing scientific studies and making contact with politicians.

Sylvia Hartmann is part of this organization. I chose this quote, because it is a statement from a big organization. It says that we need to support the young people who promote for the climate change. It also says that the health sector have to do more now for the climate protection.
I think that when a quote like this exists are there even more from such organizations, which just do not get any attention or do not get big to the public.
It shows that many people want to change something and that there are organizations which support everyone and everything someone does that is for the climate.
They also see, that they need to use every young people, that supports it. Because in our generation is it like this: When someone starts something what is good and that the person is 100 percent convinced from, they say it to others and they give it to the next ones. So it gets bigger and bigger and a whole new and big community arises that can reach something if they want to. They can be seen, recognized and supported by everyone!

It is also good that you can klick on every organization so that you can read more about them if you want to. And if you like one you can directly do what is said at the end of the article. You automatically support this organization by reading it and klicking on it. I searched long for an article that has to do with my topic, where are some organizations, where is explained what German is doing and how you can help. I know that the article is not really long but I think that the most important things are mentioned in it.

This article is worth dealing with, on the one hand because the language was not expressed too seriously. It is easy to understand - it is not so much a factual text but more an argument with realistic arguments that have been well explained. Dean Burnett, the writer, who, as his article comes across, is very convinced of his opinion, tells people why they shouldn't immediately believe in climate change and why scientists make people believe all of this and even blame them. His first argument is that we should have seen/ felt more consequences of climate change by now, after countless decades of predicting. He particularly emphasizes how we should have seen, rising sea levels caused by the warming of the atmosphere, by now! Melting glacier ice is also a consequence of climate change. For dean barnett, this is clearly a manipulative statement coming from scientists - he compares the whole thing in his article with a glass of water and ice inside. how should the ice not melt after a certain time? In his article he later mentions the Statements of extreme environmental activists: The flood of people emigrating is due to climate change. Clearly bullshit for him! Why should people stay in one place when they have innumerable means to get from one point to another at this time? It has nothing to do with climate change but for Dean Barnett quite simply with the development of our world. Finally he suspects why scientists are even introducing such wrong thoughts into the population in the first place. He thinks this will allow scientists to speed up their research on the life of the Moon and Mars - more volunteers for the experiments. Trump makes no secret of what he thinks about climate change. MSNBC news has published a three minute video of his opinion on climate change. The video has shown that he emphasizes that climate change is a "money making industry" several times. He shared his skepticism of climate change 115 times on twitter. When it comes to answering any questions, from journalists during an interview, about trump's opinion on climate change, they distract as much as possible. In 2012 Trump said global warming was created by and for Chinese manufacturing - saying that global warming is a political tool invented by Chinese because manufacturing is crucial for both China and the US. It is a known fact that the US and China are in an intense rivalry when it comes to manufacturing. In 2013 he also tweeted that global warming is a hoax and three years later denied ever saying that.While he donated money to fight climate change back in 2014. One of the best evidence showing Donald Trumps opinion about climate change, is his decision to exit the Paris Climate Accord in 2017 which he justified by stating he was “ doing what is fair for the US”. Then in 2018 Trump claimed he does not think it is a hoax, but does not know that it is manmade.

Both caricatures pictured two different people, a politician and a scientist. The caricature above shows how the politician holds a bag full of money in his hand with the label "Climate Research $ Funding" and hands it over to the scientist who is already waiting greedily for the money which his dollar signs- eyes are showing. The scientist is labeled on his arm with
"The 95%" and he says "SURE! I'LL SETTLE THAT SCIENCE FOR YA". The meaning behind this cartoon is that politicians want to influence the whole world by making people believe there is climate change. The best help they can get to achieve that, is the testimony of scientists, because people believe that much more then what politician say - but what people cannot know, the 95%, which stands for all scientists who claim there is 95% climate change, is pretended because even scientists do anything for money.
The second caricature shows how the politician lays his arm around the scientist and puts his sign that says "mis" next to her sign which she holds up with the inscription "information" → “misinformation”. This caricature also clearly shows that information which we see and which are given to us by scientists are clearly misinformation-scientists should not be believed. It does not specifically deal with climate change, but it supports the above even more. Scientists reproduce what politicians want to hear and what they can manipulate people with. I think both cartoonists are definitely skeptical about what scientists say, even when it comes to climate change, and are more of the opinion you should not use them as evidence for e.g. climate change. In my opinion, the cartoonists conveyed their opinion well and simply, not too complicated, with their caricatures.
