If you are interested in science then take the stem version of classes because it is more in depth but not as rigorous as an AP class. If you choose to take STEM Chem freshman year you will have to take at least one AP science course in order to get three science credits for graduation.

If you are interested in math and are willing to put in the work for an AP class then you can take Calculus and score well enough on AP exams that you will not have to take a math class in college.
