Please calculate the damages for (1) non economic and damages in respect of (2) gratuitous services, for this matter:

Client’s statement: I fell over at my local Woolies, broke my leg and damaged my knee. I had to pay $50k in medical bills and I had to take three weeks off work while my leg healed. I work as a forklift driver and I've been working half time for the last three months because my leg doesn’t have the strength to operate the forklift for too long. My weekly wage is usually $500/wk. Now I'm earning $300/wk. My mother cared for me at home. She was with me full-time for the first three weeks and for the 12 weeks after that she cared for me one day per week.  Mum works as a carer and usually earns $500/day, or $2,000/week. She couldn’t earn her daily rate for the days she cared for me.

Using the sections below, please calculate in accordance to these sections from the CLA 1936:

S52: (ii) if the scale value is 20 or less but more than 10—by adding to $11 500 an amount calculated by multiplying the number by which the scale value exceeds 10 by $2 300;

S58(2): (2) Damages awarded to allow for the recompense of gratuitous services of a parent, spouse, domestic partner or child are not to exceed an amount equivalent to 4 times State average weekly earnings.
