An example of a realistic advert would be a Royal Navy advert. This advert is effective because it uses a soldiers story of how he was brought up as a kid, The narration used in the background is also effective because it is very motivational as he (Ben) talks about how he went from pulling pints to actually pushing himself.

What makes this advert realistic is the fact of the character being from a ordinary background and we get to see his real life story from being just a Carlisle united fan to a Royal navy soldier.

A example of a unrealistic advert would be the skittles advert as everything the character touches turns to skittles. in order to display this  they had to use (cgi) computer-generated imagery. By doing this it is bringing humour to the advert. If you are making the audience laugh at the ad then you are increasing the play ability.

There have been various camera angles used to make the ad have different perspectives to the scene, this can make the advert less boring and bring different angles to the advert.
