I am Zuhal Ay, an English language teacher at Tarabya CK that is in a beautiful seaside part of Istanbul. It is a high school that provides pupils with general academic skills. Our pupils study classes such as literature, languages, maths, science, arts, physical education... It has a big garden that is circled with green trees, and it is quite close to public transportation. Classes start at 8.30 am and end at 3.10 pm.  It is my second year at this school. Although it doesn't have international project experience -which is a negative aspect-, it has lots of good features that might facilitate any kind of multi-cultural project. The best feature of our school, I think, is that we have a great diversity of pupils coming from different nationalities. Besides, many of our pupils are good at sports, arts and languages. I'm Suzana Ferreira. I’ve been an English teacher at ESMS since 2016. The school is 130 years old and it is a reference in the city of Guimarães. Guimarães is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located 40km from Oporto, the country’s second city, and 350Km from the capital city - Lisbon. 
The school has more than 1400 students between the ages of 15 and 18. There is an Erasmus Club in the school, but I’m not included. 
Most of the students want to go to university but there are also professional courses.
The class I chose for this cherished project is 10CT5, which is quite proficient in English and has a supportive and fortunate background. It’s their first year in the school and they are hardworking and ambitious.
Classes start at 8.25am till 1.20pm in the morning Monday to Friday  and sometimes from 2.30pm till 5.45pm in the afternoon.
As far as I know, it is the first time there is an eTwinning project in the school. So I can’t think of a better way to start!

Novaci Theoretical High School is the institution that prepares young people from the area through an education based on performance and competitiveness.

Novaci Theoretical High School was founded in 1956, under the name of General Culture High School, then on August 27, 1977 it became Industrial High School. In the period 1977-1992 it was called Industrial High School, being patronized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry. From 1992, it became a Theoretical High School, with branches such as: mathematics-informatics, philology, natural sciences, and from 1993 the technological-services profile.

Some of the subjects taught in  our school: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry,  Science, History, Economics,  but also foreign languages as English, French, German, Latin  , as well as Art or Music courses. 
We have a lot of cultural activities in which our students participate, sport also is very well represented.

Starting from 2022, we have also a profile called Social studies; we are trying to offer our students the education they need in order for them to achieve the skills for being able to live in this constant developing world.

Hi! My name is Magda. I've been teaching  English  at  1st Gymnasio of Pyrgos for 20 years. 1st Gymnasio , a secondary school of about 400 students  is a modern newly-built building with a lot of facilities and technological equipment. The older building was destroyed after a strong earthquake in 2007 and the new one started working in 2015. Our school has a long tradition in carrying out environmental, cultural as well as Comenius and Erasmus+projects. However, we are new etwinners. Last year , we had a project with the title "etwinners go green" and it was such a great experience for both teachers and students  that we are sorry we had no etwinning projects before!

I'm Bouchara OUBELAÏD, I teach English and French for 10 years now in a vocational high school, in the north of France (near the Belgian border). After my studies I started working in International Trade, but this job was not fulfilling personally, I was not happy so I decided to become a teacher to work with students in vocational high school, to help them grow and become the future professionals and citizens of our world, and well I just LOVE my job now! It is so fulfilling, teaching them, learning with and from them also and I am sure they will enjoy this etwinning experience. Our city, Lambersart is officially twinned with 2 cities, Viersen in Germany and Southborough in England, and we learned that twinning cities in Eastern Europe started after WWII to get people "closer" to their neighbor's countries. That's also why I am so excited about this eTwinning project which I am sure will get us all closer!

My vocational high school is in Lambersart, near Lille (biggest city in the north of France), we have about 430 students, from 14 to 19 years old, studying to get a City and Guilds diploma or a BTEC National mainly in Trade, Events coordination, Health Care, Social Services for children and the elderly.
Last year was really intense, I participated with 4 classes to 2 eTwinning projects (Fast Fashion Awareness and Climate Change Tranckers) it has been an amazing experience for us all, we learned so much and met, worked with wonderful people from Turkey, Italy, Spain, Slovakia and Poland. We also went abroad with some students for them to have their 4th work experience in Malta, and Lisbon, this also has been a great experience of sharing and learning about European culture.

I am so happy to be a part of this project. I know it will bring us all, students and teachers, so many skills, professionnally but also and mainly humanly, I can't wait to get started!

"Matija Gubec" Elementary school is situated in Tavankut, a village located 20 km from Subotica in northern Serbia. This is a public, elementary school with pupils from 7 to 15 years old. There is a central school building, for students from 1st to 8th grade and two satellite schools in villages around Tavankut for students from 1st to 4th grade. The teaching process in school is organised in Serbian and Croatian and the school has a cross-border cooperation with schools from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina,Hungary and North Macedonia, as well as with Erasmus + partners from Romania, Turkey, Latvia and Sweden. The main activity is education, both formal and informal. Other important activities include improving communication in a multi-ethnic background and activating the people in the rural environment. It is important for our rural area to strengthen the opinion among our community that there are opportunities for quality development of young people not only in big towns but also in their own place.
