Eukaryotic - containing a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles.

3. Organelle - Part of cell that carries out functions to allow the cell to survive.

4. Cytoplasm - fluid in cells that contains organelles in it.

5. Nucleus - large double-membraned organelle that is sometimes referred to as the “central unit” of the cell because it contains the chromosomes that bear the genetic material.

6. Golgi - organelle that helps process and package proteins and lipid molecules, especially proteins destined to be exported from the cell.

7. Cell Membrane - separates the interior of the cell from the outside environment.

8. Cell Wall - a rigid layer of polysaccharides lying outside the plasma membrane of the cells of plants, fungi, and bacteria

9. Diffusion - net movement of molecules from an area where they are at a higher concentration to areas where they are at a lower concentration.

10. Osmosis - diffusion of water through a semi-permeable membrane.
