I am thankful for majestic skies and sunsets. Recently, I have been admiring the sky, taking pictures of it, and staring at it on walks and in the car. With sudden sightings of the northern lights in Canada, I was lucky to catch the sky looking more unique than ever before. It was hard not to perceive the sky as it illuminated the entire sky with its distinctive colour and roaring presence. I am thankful to see the sky in such an exceptional and rare state.

I am thankful for my home gym. Although it doesn't look like much at first glance, it has everything I need to achieve my weightlifting goals. A home gym is helpful because I can work out without driving to a gym or paying for more gym passes. I can work out alone, meaning I would not have to wait for anyone to use any equipment. Today, after finishing up with schoolwork, I wanted to work out, but I was too lazy to drive to the gym. The home gym can keep me motivated to work out every day without excuses. I am thankful for having such a convenient home gym whenever I need to squeeze in a workout at any point of the day.

I am thankful for my immediate and extended family. Today was Thanksgiving, and to our surprise, many family members, including my grandparents and my cousin, were able to come from Toronto. I have always been grateful for my family because they take care of me and raise me to live a successful life and a life modelled by God. I have also always been grateful for my extended family, as they have been a part of my life since I was born. I will always be thankful for my family no matter what, but Thanksgiving was the perfect day to acknowledge family.

I am thankful for Carney's events. I attended senior's night for volleyball and supported our school communities while having fun with friends. Carney events can bring school spirit while also providing opportunities to have fun. Besides just this single Carney event alone, many other Carney events have been a memorial to many Carney students and me. I am thankful for the small and big opportunities my school offers to create long-lasting memories to last a long time.

I am thankful for my personal health and fitness. Today I was able to run the entire walkathon which was 13km without having to stop running once. Although this was a difficult task, I pushed through the pain of tired muscles and ended up finishing in third place with a time of 1:04:01. Without having a good physical fitness, I would of not been able to finish the run without having to take a break or prevent a form of injury. I am thankful I was able to have a terrific physical fitness strong enough to complete this run without taking a break.

I am thankful for my church and the community at my church. I have grown up in the church community of the Saint George Copic Orthodox church my entire life. Our church community is strong and I admire how everyone in this community is strong and pursuing their faith even without a current church (our church was arsoned in 2021). The leaders at this church have taught me so much about my faith and my peers their are some of the closets people to me in my life right now. I am thankful I am in a heartwarming and loving church community.

I am thankful for Netflix. After tiring school days, long fought basketball practices, and for the days where I just want to relax, I can sit back and enjoy some Netflix. I am thankful I have a form of entertainment stored on my phone so I can watch shows and movies at home or on the go. Even though their are many forms of entertainment such as videogames, social media, or YouTube as forms of entertainment on my phone, I chose Netflix because I can enjoy something suspenseful, funny, or action-packed by myself or with others. I am thankful for having Netflix on my phone as a form of entertainment.
