         <description><![CDATA[<div>The dissolvable pacemaker is a device that works like a permanent pacemaker but has a less extensive and invasive procedure for placement (Hastings, 2022). It also does not require a second procedure for removal as it simply dissolves in the body. This device is made with materials that are safe and beneficial for absorption in the body. This pacemaker also includes sensors that can monitor oxygen levels, cardiac electrical activity, temperature, respiration, physical activity, and, muscle tone (Hastings, 2022).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During my clinical rotations, I encountered a patient who was experiencing complications from their permanent pacemaker as the leads had gotten tangled up in their heart valves causing damage to the heart valves. Due to this, the patient was going to have to undergo another surgery to try and get the pacemaker leads untangled and prevent further heart valve damage. This patient was born with a heart defect and had already undergone multiple heart procedures so hearing this news was very upsetting for the patient. After learning about these dissolvable pacemakers and the positive impacts that they can have on patients like preventing the from having to undergo another extensive surgery I support the use of this device on patients because it will help prevent patients from having to endure multiple extensive procedures. I still have some concerns about this device though that I hope we will be able to have better knowledge and understanding of. These concerns include how to decrease infection risk from the external wires, discover what happens to the material and fragments of the pacemaker once it dissolves in the body, and what are the risk of having this material and fragments in the body. Overall, I feel that the creation of this device is a huge accomplishment and shows just how far we have come with the use of technology in healthcare.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My Strengths are achiever, belief, discipline, empathy, and harmony. Based on my personal strengths I am a hard worker who stands firm in my beliefs and who enjoys structure. I am a person who prefers harmony with others over engaging in conflict. I am also empathetic towards others and understanding towards others.<br>&nbsp;I would choose Faith (Futuristic), Andrew (Activator), Angelica (Analytical),&nbsp; Matthew (Maximizer), and William (Woo) to be in my group.<br>I chose a futuristic group member because a futuristic is an individual who is enthusiastic about the future and inspired by it. I believe this would be beneficial since we are going to be advocating for the use of new technology.<br>I chose an activator and an analytical group member because an activator is an individual who makes things happen and an analytical is a person who searches for reasons and considers the pros and cons of things. These two strengths will be beneficial to the group as we will need someone who is pushing our agenda forward and someone considering all the numbers and figures that making this change can make for the facility. I chose a maximizer and a woo group member because a maximizer has an influencing personality that strives to stimulate group excellence while woo tends to enjoy networking and winning people over. These personalities will help bring out the best in the group and help with getting people to agree with our agenda.&nbsp; Overall, I believe that matching these strengths with my own strength will ensure that my group has a variety of strengths that will help the group succeed.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
