         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once Corrie started working with the Anti-Nazi Underground, she figured out that to hide people with others in the country, they had to have an ID and food stamps. Corrie asked a friend who worked at the office where the food stamps were and asked him to set up a fake robbery. the first day of each month, he would pretend to be an electrician an bring the food stamp for that month to the house.</div>]]></description>

She spent her time there in a crowded bunk with tons of sick women. Betsie had got some sort of disease and started to become more and more sick every day.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Betsie&#39;s trip to the hospital</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After lots of back breaking work, Betsie became so sick that she could barely move her arms and legs. She was brought to the hospital and Corrie wasn't allowed to see her. Betsie got better for a while, but one day when Corrie looked through the window in Betsie's room, she was being carried away after she died.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A few weeks after Betsie's death, Corrie had a release exam and was diagnosed with enema to the ankles and feet. After she healed, she was given her things back and given food stamps and bread rations but lost them. She eventually got back to the Beje and things were very different when she got back.</div>]]></description>
