I think the 1st painting has the most convincing propaganda because of what Napoleon is wearing with vibrant and clean clothes and him on a horse shows him as a leader.
2.)

First Image: It makes him look powerful because it is in color, he has fancy clothes on, and he is depicted as being big and mighty. Also, in the background people are working, and he is riding a horse, so it looks like he is commanding them.
Second Image: This makes him seem caring. In the photo, he is holding a person and seems to be helping everyone out. His clothing is not too fancy and everyone is in black and white, which makes him look more humble.
Third Image: It makes him look powerful and majestic. It looks like he is the main part in a parade because he is standing in a chariot above everyone else. Since mostly everyone else is walking and he is being pulled by horses, it shows his power. The women next to him show how everyone wants to be with him.
1. I consider the picture of Napoleon crossing the Alps the most convincing form of propaganda because it shows how powerful he is. The color makes the picture more eye grabbing and good to look at.
2.

1. In Napoleon Crossing the Alps, the posture of Napoleon is significant. First, he is holding up his hand in the shape of a one, and this gesture symbolizes that he is the best and he can lead. The horse is standing on the edge of a cliff, and this makes it seem like he can't be knocked down. In the background the other soldiers are carrying materials. Last, his named is engraved on the rock which symbolizes to me that he is the foundation of his country.
2. In picture two Napoleon is on a boat. It looks like he is saving people. Everyone on the boat also has open mouths because they are in awe of what Napoleon can do. They also look like they are crossing tough waters which may refer to how they can overcome England's strong navy if you side with Napoleon.
3. Napoleon is riding on a chariot in the third picture. He is surrounded by many and looks like he is protected. Everyone is glancing at him because he is a God-like figure to them. The kids in the front look happy under his rule.

1. I think the best propaganda is Napoleon Crossing the Alps

In the second picture, in my opinion, he is saving people from the flood and it makes him look courages.
3. This painting demonstrates Napoleon in the middle of two people riding in a horse carriage. Instead of walking like the other people, he is showing that he is the best and the most important.
Q1: In my opinion, I chose the last one because it shows how he is very important and everyone should respect him.
Q2:

He has fancy clothes to make him look important, he has a determined look on his face, the horse is scared maybe because he is so powerful, he is pointing upwards saying they are only going up and getting better, there are people in the back walking and carrying weapons while he is riding a horse.
2. He is saving poor people so it makes him look kind and powerful, some of the people look scared of him maybe because of the amount of power he has, he is saving people even when there is a flood which makes him look very nice.
3. He is in the middle maybe because he is so important that he needs to be protected, he has a very serious look on his face, he is not walking like the women around him which shows he is more important and has more power.
Q1: The third picture, Triumph of Bonaparte, because he looks very powerful and important.
Q2: because power and important became very popular and was one of the major aspects of the French Revolution so people wanted to show off their power of show others they have more power and importance.

Napoleon Crossing the Alps
1. It could influence people of how great and powerful he really is as a leader. The way the horse is looking at him seems to contain great fear in his/hers eyes. They also make Napoleon fairly larger than the other soldiers behind him. They also made sure to show Napoleon pointing in a specific direction to conclude that he gives the direction as a leader.
The Flood
1. This seems to be making the audience aware that it was a sad time. The color of the painting is very dull and dim and also the facial expressions on the people seem to be melancholy and dreadful.
Triumph of Bonaparte
1.

1. This painting is portraying the though that Napolean is so great because he's on a well kept up horse, with it's hair flowing, he has on a cape and you can tell that he is directing, he's a leader. The clothes that he is wearing shows his importance to the world, and he has his men carry all of the war materials while he is being transported by the horse.
2. In the second picture its showing that he is being looked at as a great hero to the people. You can tell that he has a sword on his hip, and everyday people dont carry swords with them. One of the ladies is giving praise to god to show that Napolean is a great person. Just by his facial expressions you can tell that he is working very hard to help those needy people during this flood.
3. On this last picture it's showing him in a chariot guarded by two other people. He has people in front of him and people following him , showing him high praise.
Q1: I feel like the

First image: Napoleon has fancy clothes on and is riding a horse while in the background you can see other soldiers pushing a cannon and carrying war materials. This image shows that he has power and is the most important according to the artist.
Second image: In the second image, it looks like Napoleon is saving the poor and wrecked people who are crying out for help, and he is standing tall and proud through it. He also seems to be specifically saving one person, kissing them on the head and looking strong and mighty for saving them.
Third image: In the third image, Napoleon is shown riding in a carriage with bull horns on his head and an angel to his left, showing his importance and significance. He seems to be very high up and with a lot of power and importance.
Q1: I would say that the third picture does the best job of displaying him as an important figure, because he has horns on his head and is riding in the same carriage as an angel.
Q2:

1. I consider image 1 to be the best form of propaganda because Napoleon is on a big horse, on a rocky, steep mountain. None of his men are on horses so this portrays control and power. Also, on the rocks below Napoleon, there are names of other military leaders. This gives an idea that they have fallen or that Napoleon is above them because, in the picture, he is.
2. I think the French Revolution was the first time in history where propaganda was used because this was the first big turn of events and government and evolution, so everyone wanted people on their sides.

1. His name is engraved in the bottom of the rock. He is bravely riding this fancy horse and he is pointing towards victory, and he is wearing many colors which tell people he is rich. Also he is riding a horse and other "normal" people have to walk which shows his status and dominance.
2. In the flood picture, Napoleon is shown lifting scared helpless people to the safety of a boat. This portrays how noble and selfless he is by risking his own life to save others. It also shows that he wants people to think he cares about each individual peasant (which he probably didn't.)
3. In this picture Napoleon is almost God like because he is in a chariot and has angle wings. The picture also shows how he is higher in rank than anyone else there and has more power than anyone. He is also a lot taller than he was in this picture than real life.

1. I think hat the picture of him crossing the alps is the most convincing propaganda because it is the most realistic of them all

2. Because they needed more people to fight in the war and it made them feel bad when they saw all the men fighting and they were not there

1. In the painting that depicts Napoleon crossing the Alps, he wears extravagant clothing. He points his hand upwards, showing his leadership. He rides a horse as if he is going into battle, and there are men below him carrying war materials, showing his military successes and that he is the most important. There are also some names on stones, with Bonaparte being the biggest, again showing his dominance.
2. The painting of the flood depicts Napoleon's soldiers carrying out citizens and placing them on the boats. This shows that Napoleon supports and cares about his people, and wouldn't just save himself if France was in danger.
3. This painting shows Napoleon riding in a detailed carriage, surrounded by elegant women, horses, and even angels, showing that he was chosen by God and a heavenly figure. The angels carry olive branches, signifying the wise peace treaties he made.
1. I think the third picture is the most convincing because it has a lot of depth

Image 1:
In this painting of Napoleon he is painted in bright colors which makes him stand out from the background and be most important. The way he is riding the horse makes it seem like he is gallantly riding into battle(hero like). Everything about this picture is very manly and high class.
Image 2:
This picture depicts napoleon leading the way on a boat filled with struggling people as he carries a woman who appears very weak. Napoleon looks like he is saving them and stepping up to lead the to safety. Everyone else in the photo looks terrified but he looks certain and brave, it shows that he cares.
Image 3:
This last photo Napoleon is riding in a beautiful chariot surrounded by beautiful woman playing music, gorgeous horses, and naked little boys. He looks very high class and graceful almost like a god, he is only surrounded by the best of the best because that is what he deserves. Overall he looks very respected and admired by the way people protect him and give him everything he desires.
1) I think the second picture is the most convincing because it is more realistic. In all the other ones he looks great and gallant but in this specific one he looks like he cares and he is capable too.
2) Propaganda most likely became prominent during this time period because it makes the other countries think he is better when he attacks them.

With his detailed sword and bright colored robes, they are used demonstrate his power as he rides along on his horse.
Image 2: This image shows many people on the street who are poor and seeming very helpless at the time after France is going through a tough period of time. It's trying to show that people are in need.
Image 3: This image shows a very powerful side to Napoleon and how much attention he brings.
