Thanks for sharing your experiences with me. You've got a great story to tell, and you're able to tell it well because you're a thoughtful, insightful guy and a great writer.

You taught me about how tragedy can become motivation for accomplishment. How a thoughtful consideration of the implications of tragedy can solidify someone rather than cause them to fall apart. You've got the fire burning under you and a good head on your shoulders. You can probably accomplish pretty much anything you want to.

Now you've just got to decide what it is you want to accomplish! Set your sights high.

I really enjoyed this editing experience because me personally I thought my essays were perfect and didn’t need any editing. But through this experience, I learned that it’s great and extremely helpful to receive advice from others. I was and still am so surprised at how much we cut down from my immensely long essay!
