I visit frequently during the summers to visit family and explore different areas. One of my biggest goals in life is to teach at a school in Mexico. There are many private schools in San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato that I would love to get the opportunity to teach at. In these private academies, students learn English, so that they can study abroad or transfer to colleges in the United States. Learning English also puts them at an advantage when applying for corporate jobs since many companies in Mexico require bilingual personal to help they company succeed more. My parents are bakers who migrated from Mexico to give my siblings and I a better opportunities than they had. They who have owned the yummiest mexican bread bakery for the past 20 years. I have two older brothers, who have blessed me with bonus sister's and a nephew! Oh how I love my nephew, he is actually the reason I knew I wanted to be a teacher and work with children. Since my brother's are older than me, I grew up living as an only child for the majority of my middle school-high school career. I believe the loneliness that came with feeling like an only child also encouraged my interest in becoming a teacher, where I can be surrounded my little's all day! Everyone included in the picture above has encouraged and helped me through my journey to becoming a teacher. Even my sister-in-law's mother (not pictured) has helped me greatly! I used to always order them from a shop in our town during Valentine's day, until a couple of years back when I finally decided I would do them myself that year. To my surprise, my first attempt came out really good, it was not as hard for me as I thought it would. I started to really like making them, and looking up ideas for different designs and colors. Making the strawberries became my little escape from school work and other stress. I eventually want to make it a side job of mine!
