It also really helps not only to keep all the papers given to use even when on other units, but to make sure you study/participate in and out of class. Try having a folder and notebook dedicated to Spanish, since we get lots of papers it's important to keep our unit packets in one place. Don't go on google translate but if you're stuck on a word go to word reference :) Be here on our test days and on time so we don't waste time and it saves time for Senorita Callaly. Once in a while go outside your comfort zone and take a RISK in class!!! Whether that be speaking to yourself or practicing back and forth with a fellow classmate. Also always stay on top of your assignments, not just for the grade but each assignment really does reinforce the knowledge that you have which is helpful in the long run. You could even listen to some Spanish music or change the language on a show to Spanish just to see how much you could possibly pick out. For listening tests just make sure you're studying your words. You won't be asked for anything you don't know so try your best not to be stressed about anything like that!! 

Overall Espanol 1 is really fun and kind of easy if you're doing the work and studying like you're supposed to.
