I loved most of the Clifford books because I thought the idea of a dog that big was fascinating. I love this particular book because it included a kitten and I love cats. I reread this book recently and it brought back memories from when I was little and want to read it everyday. I know this book will be included in my future classroom library from my students to enjoy also.

A cat comes up to Emily while she is outside and her mom allowed the cat to stay with them until the owner is found. Emily does various things with the cat that she was never able to do with Clifford. Clifford, who seems a little jealous tries to do the same things.
