This learning strategy is constantly evolving and changing (Defelice & Kapp, 2019). According to various definitions, this is a type of learning that is 5 minutes or less, simple, short, engaging, and the smallest instructional unit. It should be intentionally designed with an activity or other form of learner engagement. Defelice & Kapp posit it should be "...engaging but brief experience to achieve a focused outcome" (2019).
